Ready to put your accounting expertise to work? Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for two opportunities with a growing public accounting firm. Both positions offer client interaction, varied assignments, and opportunities for professional growth.
EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT
$50,000–$65,000 annually
Put your analytical and problem-solving skills to work helping clients maintain accurate records and improve accounting processes.
Prepare and review bookkeeping, financial statements, and accounting reports.
Clean up accounting records, resolve discrepancies, and assist with accounting system setup.
Research accounting issues and recommend practical solutions.
Manage multiple client projects and deadlines.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and demonstrated accounting experience in public accounting, private industry, or both. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, financial reporting, and internal controls required.
EXPERIENCED FINANCIAL STATEMENT AUDITOR
$60,000–$70,000 annually
Take ownership of audit engagements while building client relationships and providing guidance to team members.
Lead financial statement audits from planning through issuance.
Review financial statements and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and governing boards.
Supervise, train, and review staff work while managing engagement deadlines.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, at least 5 years of external financial statement audit experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards. Governmental and not-for-profit audit experience required. Construction audit experience is a plus; CPA license preferred.
Both positions require regular in-office presence, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Limited travel may be required for the auditor position.
