Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

The Sustainment Engineering Expediter expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

Required Skills and Education
- Data entry and use of the Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook and other programs.
- Inventory control using databases and data entry.
- Knowledge of foundry workings and protocols.
- Inventory control and purchasing of spare and emergency orders.
- Knowledge of stock room standards a plus.
Preferred Skills and Education
- High school diploma.
- Attention to details.
- Experience with clean room policies a plus.
- The ability to work in a clean room for extended periods of time as required.
- Interfacing with internal and external groups both electronically and verbally to support foundry operations.

Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
