Title: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor/Manager supervises all activities of that facility, which often involves overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Frequently required to push/pull a ladder, ascend and/or descend ladder while holding packages
- Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance
- Occasionally required to operate material handling lift equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Direct & supervise shipping personnel
- Monitor employee performance and productivity
- Address and resolve employee issues
- Prepare and present employee evaluations
- Responsible for suggesting methods to continuously improve area operations, efficiency and service.
- Be available for less experienced employees by providing appropriate coaching, counseling, direction and resolution.
- Work as a leader of special or on-going projects that are important to area/process improvement.
- Ensure new and current employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication to Operations Manager regarding department or employee concerns.
- Maintaining inventory controls; i.e.: cycle counting and morning report adjustments.
- Put away stock accurately.
- Process RGA’s and damaged product.

EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- 3 Year Team Lead/Supervisor/Manager Experience
- 3 Years of Warehouse Experience
