The Event & Security Coordinator works closely with the Operations Security team and Building Ambassador to create, maintain, and enforce company security and employee policies/procedures, as well as support building events and operations. This position is responsible for providing a great experience to our team members and visitors at the Global Headquarters.

Security Administration

  • Greet and identify all visitors to the facility; address visitor inquiries as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and visitors to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Partner with the Oshkosh Defense Industrial Security team to maintain and enforce visitor access control, including preparation and issuance of access badges.
  • Maintain access control databases, security documentation, and personnel training records.
  • Catalog, review, and track changes to security policy
  • Maintain and reorder inventory of security, medical, and safety related equipment
  • Track and maintain personnel security processes and related data.
  • Manage administrative communications, including call handling, message coordination, and conference call scheduling.
  • Assist with preparing presentations and reports, which may include research and compiling data.
  • Serve as system administrator and subject matter expert for Total Connect (alarm system), AlertMedia (emergency notifications), Samdesk (risk intelligence), Envoy (visitor management), and Security SharePoint.
  • Execute miscellaneous administrative duties including maintaining files, ordering supplies, and processing invoices.

Event Support & Guest Experience

  • Assist with coordination and communication with internal and external event hosts regarding all aspects of events including timing, food/beverage, audio-visual, room allocation, security, janitorial amenities, room layout, visitor management and other technical requirements.
  • Support the prioritization of events based on business needs, community engagement, and team member requirements.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining a standard process for event requests, collaborating with Facilities, Safety, and Security teams to ensure building processes are followed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for event hosts on the day of the event, supporting final setup and execution.
  • Provide building tours to VIP guests and event groups
  • Commitment to upholding the company’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and respectful workplace behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Event Management or a related field
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Event Management or a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in verbal, written, and electronic communication.
  • Effective management of multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong initiative, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with corporate security functions or applications
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
  • In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.
  • Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
  • Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:

$57,600.00 - $90,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
