Overview

This position is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and readiness of a community space in Clinton. This position performs a combination of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance work, event preparation, janitorial services, and supervisory duties, including oversight of trustees. Communication with other members of management is crucial. 

Responsibilities

🟢 Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of assigned properties including mowing, landscaping, painting, and general repairs. 

🟢 Maintain livestock barns, arenas, and related facilities including setup and teardown for shows and events.

🟢 Assist with maintenance and repairs at other assigned facilities. 

🟢 Operate, service, and perform routine maintenance on mowers, tractors, and other equipment.

🟢 Acquire, track, and maintain and adequate inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for operations. 

🟢 Coordinate with vendors for repairs that exceed in-house capabilities. 

🟢Assist with planning and operations for various events.

🟢Perform janitorial and custodial duties, including collecting and disposal of trash. 

🟢 Serve as the primary point of contact for event planners. Supervisor and assign tasks, monitor work.

Qualifications

🟢 Possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver's License

🟢Frequently required to walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb and reach.

🟢 Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve varying weather conditions.

🟢Work schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, Holidays.

🟢 Exposure to noise, chemicals, livestock, mechanical equipment, and uneven terrain.

🟢 Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs., with heavier items moved using team lifting, mechanical assistance, or equipment as appropriate.
