This position works Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm, plus overtime weekly. Must have experience driving a sit down forklift in a manufacturing setting.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Athens, TN. If you have a passion for logistics and a knack for operating forklifts, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to maximize space and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and assist with inventory counts.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery safely.
• Valid forklift certification preferred but not required; training can be provided.
