Role: Senior Estimator

Location: Northbrook, IL

Salary: Up to $180k DOE

A growing national commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its preconstruction team. Projects include hospitality, retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and detailed project estimates and quantity take-offs
• Develop budgets, GMPs, and subcontractor bid packages
• Review plans, specifications, logistics, and project schedules
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Attend client, architect, and project planning meetings
• Maintain subcontractor relationships and historical pricing data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Civil and structural estimating experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
