Overview
We are seeking skilled CNC Programmers with 4+ recent years experience using EdgeCam or **Esprit **and CREO, OR a demonstrated ability to learn other CAM apps & willing to learn Esprit for 3-6 month contracts in the Western US.
In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet our clients’ specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Set up and operate Okuma multitasking lathes, Puma 5-axis multispindle mill turnsensuring they run efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Responsible for training the FTE
Qualifications
- 4+ years recent experience with Esprit (2025) and CREO Parametric software OR a demonstrated ability to learn other CAM apps & willing to learn Esprit.
- Understands GD&T callouts including runout, position, perpendicularity, finish, etc.
- Experience with Fanuc 31i controllers
- Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Able to create setup sheets if no setup sheets are present.
- Able to operate an overhead crane.
- Experience with Vericut and Renishaw probing is highly desirable.
- Must have ITAR documentation.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
