We are presently seeking FAB Equipment Technicians with experience with diverse tool sets that are wanting to work with some of the most sophisticated equipment in the industry. As Equipment Technicians we are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians supervise tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
  • Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  • Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
  • May perform equipment modifications as advised by engineers
  • Able to support shift patter

Education and Experience

  • Preferred: Two-year technical Associates Degree or higher
  • Preferred: demonstrated ability in Production/Manufacturing
