A growing company is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Equipment Operator / Driver to join their Tampa team. This position combines warehouse operations, equipment handling, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and local deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, handling materials, and driving commercial vehicles in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely move, load, unload, and store products
• Pull, package, stage, and load outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming materials and inventory
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation with accuracy
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products for customer deliveries and job sites
• Drive company vehicles and maintain compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and company regulations
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and customer needs
• Maintain inventory, inspect products for damage or defects, and perform basic repairs when needed
• Conduct equipment testing and basic maintenance activities
• Paint, stencil, and prepare products for identification and shipment
• Maintain warehouse organization, equipment condition, and overall facility safety
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery driving, or equipment operation experience
• CDL preferred but not required
• Flatbed truck driving experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience required
• Experience with local and city driving preferred
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and warehouse equipment
• Clean and satisfactory driving record
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity
