We are hiring experienced Equipment Operators for a contract role supporting rig up and rig down operations in Williston, ND. This hands-on position offers consistent work with a team that values safety, precision, and operational reliability. You will safely operate and maintain field equipment in full compliance with OSHA and MSHA standards, helping reduce downtime and keep the worksite safe.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and field equipment to support rig up and rig down activities according to site plans
• Set up, position, and secure equipment and materials on location
• Perform pre-use inspections, basic maintenance, and safety checks, and report defects or hazards
• Follow all OSHA and MSHA safety protocols during operation, site movement, and material handling
• Assist with assembling and disassembling rig components using proper tools, lifting devices, and rigging
• Coordinate with supervisors and crew to complete tasks in sequence and on schedule
• Maintain accurate operational and inspection records
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant

Requirements

• CDL Class A (required)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience operating heavy or field equipment in oil and gas, construction, mining, or industrial settings
• Hands-on rig up/rig down experience or similar large-equipment assembly and disassembly
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA safety standards
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, job plans, and safety documentation
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift and maneuver equipment
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable, punctual, and available for extended hours

Preferred

• Oilfield services, drilling, or mining support experience
• Rigging, slinging, crane, or hoist experience
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• OSHA and/or MSHA safety certifications
• Formal equipment operator training or certification
