GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
· Equipment Maintenance: Conduct predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
(e.g., Lasers, Saws, Press Brakes, Plas Table, Automation, Hoists, Forklifts).
· Calibration & Alignment: Perform precise calibration and alignment of equipment to ensure optimal performance
and product quality.
· Spare Parts Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and consumables; reorder stock as
needed to prevent downtime.
· Building Maintenance: Handle minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repairs on buildings and equipment.
· Maintenance Tracking: Track maintenance activities and metrics
· Troubleshooting & Compliance: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, ensuring
safety standards are met.
· Cost Management: Minimize deferred maintenance costs and reduce reliance on third-party vendors.
· New Equipment Installation: Install new equipment, understand technical manuals, read blueprints, and purchase
necessary replacement parts.
· Technical & Delegation Skills: Leverage technology, delegate tasks, and apply common sense.
· Attention to Detail & Documentation: Document, report, and track maintenance issues accurately using computer
skills.
· Problem-Solving & Pressure Management: Solve complex problems quickly, control costs, and work effectively
under pressure.
· Resourcefulness: Be resourceful, willing to help wherever needed.
· Other Duties as Assigned
· Compensation: Wage is negotiable and dependent on experience/qualifications (DOE/Q).
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· 2-3 years of experience in mechanical fields, or equivalent formal training and hands-on experience.
· Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to work on hard surfaces (e.g., concrete) for up to 12 hours in varying temperatures.
· Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
· Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
· Self-starter able to work independently and recognize tasks without direct assignment.
· Proficient in reading and speaking English.
· Basic math and measurement skills.
· Flexibility to work additional hours to conduct preventative maintenance activities.
