Job Title: **Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location:** Sumter, SC 29153

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr on W2

Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, DAY SHIFT

Schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

Job Description

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have hands-on mechanical assembly and production experience.
• Must be able to use Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, and socket wrenches.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings, and part drawings.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and vision systems.
• Repair, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Support equipment changeovers and make necessary adjustments.
• Ability to read and comprehend medical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design and approved engineering principles.
• PC skills with familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, CAD, Minitab, MS Project, and Visio.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work overtime when requested based on business needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Mechanical assembly/production experience required.
• Experience using hand and torque tools required.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required.
