**Safety Coordinator

**

**Location:

** Peachtree City, GASchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch) | 42.5 hours/week

**Job Summary

**

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support health, safety, and environmental compliance within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting training, performing workplace inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable health and safety regulations.

• Conduct safety inspections, orientations, and employee training.

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace hazards, and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain EH&S documentation, audit records, and safety logs.

• Support safety programs, forklift safety initiatives, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).

• Assist supervisors and employees with workplace health and safety concerns.

• Promote a strong safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications

**

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.

• 2–3 years of health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

**Work Environment

**

Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, heat, and industrial materials. Frequent walking and occasional climbing, bending, and lifting are required. PPE must be worn in designated production areas
