Job Description

We are looking for a Tack Welders for all shift (1st, 2nd and Weekend shift) to join our New Hope, MN location.  If you have some welding experience and enjoy working with your hands, this could be a great position for you. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments
• Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 years of experience in Welding Tack-welding
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
• Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
