Job Description

We are hiring Entry-Level MIG Welders for a manufacturing facility in La Crosse, Virginia. This is a great opportunity for recent welding school graduates or welders looking to build their experience in a production environment.

Day 1 Expectations / Must Haves

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Completed a High School Welding Program or Technical School Welding Program

OR

• Be able to pass a 2G – 1" Horizontal Weld Test- Must pass both visual inspection and bend test

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform Production MIG welding on structural steel components
• Weld using .045 wire
• Work within established welding parameters, including 24–30 amps and 400–500 wire speed
• Perform welds with an emphasis on CJP (Complete Joint Penetration)
• Perform arc gouging as required
• Receive material that has already been fitted and complete welds according to the blueprints and weld locations
• Work with structural components including I-beams, joists, webbing, connection plates, stiffeners, supporting brackets, and other steel components
• Follow all required safety and quality procedures
