Mechanical Assembler

Location: Alvarado, TX

Pay: $17.75/hour

Shift: Day Shift – Four 10-Hour Days

Overtime: Available and Expected

Work Location: 100% Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to support manufacturing operations in Alvarado, TX. This position performs a variety of mechanical assembly operations involving components, equipment, and finished products.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and able to learn new assembly processes quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
Fit, mount, align, and adjust components during the assembly process.
Assemble equipment housings, mechanical components, connecting lines, and related parts.
Operate air presses, drills, and common hand tools.
Inspect materials and components for defects or quality issues.
Perform basic operational testing of completed assemblies.
Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Meet production expectations while maintaining quality and safety.

Ideal Candidate

Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Able to learn quickly and adapt to established manufacturing processes.
Able to inspect materials and identify potential quality issues.
Dependable and comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
Previous mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
Approximately 1–2 years of related experience is ideal.

Schedule

Day shift

Overtime is available and should be expected based on production needs.

No certifications required.
Ability to safely operate basic assembly tools and equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:
