Job Description for Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer:


Our Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing processes by completing the following tasks: assists in time studies, new product development testing, implementing the best practices in manufacturing processes, write work instructions and standard work alongside production associates, working with value stream teams in kaizen events, assisting team in writing product change requests, art template management, small engineering projects, time management and effective communication.

Job Responsibilities for Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer

  • Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Support the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including process instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize production performance.
  •  Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of new tools, equipment, and technologies.
  • Monitor production processes and gather data to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  •  Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in safety assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to learn and apply engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements for Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Basic understanding of Auto Cad, Creo, SolidWorks.
  •  Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and systems.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
