Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to join our production team in Longmont, CO. This role focuses on assembling electronic components, circuit boards, and subassemblies used in vortex flow meter production.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and is comfortable working with small parts and basic soldering. Soldering experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Note: This position includes soldering tasks, but does not require surface-mount soldering directly onto PCBs.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic subassemblies and circuit boards into complete electronics stacks
- Perform hand soldering of wires, connectors, and components as needed
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and production specifications
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect components and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies
- Conduct basic functional testing of assembled units
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and consistency
- Work with team members and assist in other production areas as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical documentation
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic soldering skills preferred, but training is available
- Familiarity with ESD safety standards and handling sensitive electronic components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks
- Good eyesight and ability to work with small components
- Basic understanding of electronics assembly tools and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous electronics assembly or manufacturing experience
- Experience with flowmeter or instrumentation products is a plus
