We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Harrison, OH. As a key member of our engineering department, you will work closely with experienced professionals to design, implement, and optimize control systems that drive our operations forward.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of control systems for various applications.
• Support the programming and configuration of PLCs and HMIs.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into existing processes.
• Document system specifications, design changes, and test results.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of control theory and automation principles.
• Familiarity with PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with the below is a plus:

- PLCs - Allen Bradley

- Batch control

- Ignition for SCADA

- FactoryTalk ME or SE
