Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn all aspects of the safe operation of our test equipment.
• Ensure safe operation at all times while following all NOV HSE procedures.
• Monitor and perform required maintenance and repairs of the equipment to ensure equipment reliability.
• Perform daily inspections to keep equipment in proper working condition.
• Participate in Engineering Project meetings as needed to support testing efforts.
• Be flexible with Engineering teams to accomplish testing goals recognizing that many tests will never have been run before.  Creativity and a can-do attitude to find ways to safely accomplish testing goals as required.
• Maintain a high degree of attention to cleanliness and the organization of the test areas.
• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

Formal higher education is not required.  Experience in a shop environment, heavy equipment operation, downhole tool function testing, data acquisition and maintenance knowledge is a plus.  The most important requirements are attitude, an aptitude to learn to safely operate the equipment, a willingness to learn, a desire to continuously improve and a passion for safety.  Being a self-starter is a must, as well as an ability to keep a positive attitude in an ever-changing testing environment.  If you believe that your unique experience qualifies you for this opportunity, please don’t hesitate to apply.
