Engineering Technician – Austin, TX (18-Month Contract)

Industry Leader in Ion Implantation Equipment for Semiconductor Manufacturing

Shifts Available:

• Weekday Shifts:- 8-hour (Mon–Fri) or 10-hour (Mon–Thurs)

  • Shift times vary on what division is hiring
  • Overtime often required
  • Pay: $23–$26/hr (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials:- 2nd Shift: +10%

  • Night Shift: +13%
  • Weekend Day (Fri–Sun): +10%
  • Weekend Night (Fri–Sun): +18%

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–5 years of experience in complex electro-mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills at the component level (electrical & mechanical)
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• NPI installations and field upgrade experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform routine to moderately complex technical tasks in design, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly
• Work with schematics, diagrams, and verbal instructions to test and troubleshoot systems
• Support NPI installations and field upgrades
• Document procedures and maintain logbooks
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum testing on AMAT platforms
• Follow safety standards and stay updated on process changes
