Job Description:

International Test Solutions is seeking Engineering Technicians in the Reno area who want to be a part of an industry leading company in the fast-growing semiconductor industry. We are looking for candidates that have a background in engineering or science, are team oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Requirements

  • Adhere to company policies of safety and conduct.

  • Collaborate with both product management, development, quality and engineering teams to sustain and improve on key process metrics

  • Perform lab equipment setup, operation, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages.

  • Inspect and test finished product during and after production runs.

  • Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software

  • Document and present results for R&D, Quality, and Process Engineering in a clear and concise manner. Draw conclusions and make recommendations based on available data.

  • Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues in both maintenance and production as they arise, through SPC or other data analysis.

  • Maintain a clean working environment within a shared space, adhering and implementing 5S principles where applicable.

  • Support engineering activities including process and equipment validations.

  • Assemble and test manufactured goods for dedicated tooling and or processes

  • Develop, improve and train to Manufacturing Work Instructions for equipment or new processes in standard format. This requires intimate, hands-on knowledge of the processes.

  • Support work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime


  • B.S. degree in a science or engineering field (or equivalent)

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and reasoning skills

  • Knowledge of 5S principles

  • Ability to work with others in cross-functional team environment. Following and training to both written and verbal instructions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawings
