Job Description

Engineering Technician

This position will be responsible for executing the Manufacturing Design Specification within the Remanufacturing Operations by supporting shop floor associates and technicians. This includes but is not limited to standardizing and improving manufacturing/re-manufacturing processes by creating/updating repair assembly drawings/documentation, implementing and supporting existing fixtures and manufacturing/re-manufacturing process equipment, coordination of installation and re-certification of equipment within facilities ensuring all EHS requirements are met and facilitating acceptance of all assembly processes, test processes, and test equipment. This role will also support daily repair builds and various projects supporting equipment upgrades and equipment maintenance. The goal of this role is to partner closely with the shop floor daily activities supporting a variety of products, workcells, and customer initatives. All work will be complete in accordance to manufacturing and re-manufacturing standards established by Process Engineering Organization , the Mequon Remanufacturing Group, and the CSM Business.

You will report to the Manager, of Remanufacturing in onsite in our Mequon WI facility.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support of Re-manufacturing work cells, associates and technicians, and the equipment and fixtures to analyze, build, and test to support the daily production schedules within the Mequon Remanufacturing Operations. This includes both current RA generation products, legacy RA products, with support of new generation products being released into Mequon Remanufacturing.
  • Support of the operations annual calibration and certification of all system fixtures, test equipment, etc.
  • Support execution of all Manufacturing Execution System Deliverables including but not limited to SAP, CRM, Dispatch, Work instruction (Digital and Print), Operator & Maintenance training.
  • Compliance and feedback to manufacturing standards established by Process Engineering organization, along with Mequon Remanufacturing and the CSM Business.
  • Help drive total ISC / CSM productivity by working on projects that help improve our plant's outputs and/or labor and material utilization.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Technical school work and 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with Final Assembly Remanufacturing Operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing and repair processes.
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Process and experience in engineering troubleshooting
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Ability to adjust to changes in priority and scope
  • Good written and verbal communications in English
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office program
