Pay Rate:
$30.00 to $35.00 depending on experience
(does not include hourly differential)

We are seeking an experienced
Engineering Technician
to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly on tools, systems, and prototypes while collaborating closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
What You’ll Do
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting production, engineering, and new product introductions by performing a wide range of electro-mechanical tasks, including:
- Perform routine to moderately complex
electro-mechanical functions
such as design support, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly
- Build and work with
electronics, electro-mechanical systems, prototype models, and specialized test equipment
- Troubleshoot and test both
component-level and system-level electrical and mechanical issues
- Support
new system installs, NPI activities, and field upgrades
- Work from
schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal direction
- Compile and maintain
logbooks, test procedures, and technical documentation
with strong attention to detail
- Perform
mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing
on AMAT/VSE platforms per Engineering and Manufacturing specifications
- Perform rework based on test results and generate
Quality Notifications
when required
- Stay current on manufacturing and engineering processes and assist in continuous improvement efforts
Safety & Work Environment
- Maintain a
safe, clean, and secure work environment
- Follow all safety, security, and operating procedures
- Use appropriate
protective equipment
and proper tool handling
- Actively participate in required safety training and proactively report hazards, incidents, or injuries
Required Technical Skills
- Proven experience working
hands-on in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across
electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process systems
- Experience using
hand and power tools
- Ability to build equipment using
unreleased schematics, assembly drawings, and images
- Familiarity with
electrical test equipment, meters, and diagnostic tools
- Experience with or knowledge of
fiber-optic communications
- Ability to write
clear, detailed technical reports and test procedures
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes in a
semiconductor environment
Mechanical Skills Required
- Strong
build, assembly, and fabrication skills
- Experience using
precision measuring devices
Nice to Have
- Experience with
motion control systems, specifically
PMAC
