Engineering Technician (3rd Shift)
Location: TWB, a Worthington Steel Company
Shift: Sunday through Thursday | 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Training: Initial training will take place on day shift for approximately 2 to 3 months.
Compensation: $55,000 to $62,000 annually, plus quarterly profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You'll Do
As a 3rd Shift Engineering Technician, you'll help maximize equipment reliability, improve production efficiency, and support continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot critical machine breakdowns using root cause analysis.
- Make minor modifications to existing Fanuc robot programming and troubleshooting inline sensors and quality systems.
- Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Recommend and implement equipment enhancements that improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Mentor and support Maintenance Technicians through technical guidance and training.
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors performing electrical and mechanical repairs or projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects.
- Assist with the design, procurement, testing, and documentation of new equipment and processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and order maintenance supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding low voltage circuits (24v).
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe electrical work practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Nice to Have

- Industrial electrical training.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting FANUC robots.
- Experience upgrading and improving electrical and mechanical systems.
- High Voltage Training (Levels I and II).
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting experience.
