**Position Summary **

Support Specialist ensures accurate setup and documentation of new parts and projects, collaborating with Engineering, Inventory, and Manufacturing teams. This role maintains data integrity in the ERP system, supports pre-engineering activities, and upholds safety, quality, and compliance standards while adapting to dynamic production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create routers for new parts based on input from programming and design engineers
  • Monitor inventory levels and product demand to set reorder points and safety stock
  • Review inventory for engineering changes and obsolete items
  • Identify and implement supply chain process improvements
  • Document actions using Global Shop ERP system
  • Participate in meetings and training to support continuous improvement
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and PPE requirements
  • Adapt to flexible work hours based on production need

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field required)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for part design and documentation
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE requirements in industrial settings
  • Flexibility to work varied hours due to production demands
  • Commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $60000 - $70000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
