Job Purpose: The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for directing and assesses the daily operations of a project’s engineering team. They are also the main point of contact between engineering and operations for the project.
What You Will Do
- Ensure the project engineering team adheres to project plans, specifications, and customer standards.
- Assist Operation’s Project Managers with cost reports, estimates, and quotes.
- Generate and maintain engineering deliverable schedules and help the team meet deadlines.
- Provide guidance and direction to the project engineering team, assist with paperwork and tasks required for the project.
- Serve as the liaison between the project’s engineering team and customers, both internal and external.
- Assist with material procurement, tracking of orders, and ensuring all material is on time and on budget.
Control System Design Engineer Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent. (GPA requested)
- Degree may be offset by 3+ years of previous experience in a similar industry.
- A high-level understanding of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Able to interpret plans, specs, and P&IDs
- Familiar with Rockwell, Siemens, Tridium, SCADA, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Smartsheets and Bluebeam a plus
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Positive influence and ability to work on a team or independently as a self-starter.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent communication skills
