Primary Responsibilities
- Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting production and quality data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team meetings
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues and root cause analysis
- Help develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Design parts and create fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities
- Observe and support daily manufacturing operations on the production floor
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related)
- Completed at least sophomore-level coursework preferred
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, CAD software, or data analysis preferred
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including use of PPE and extended periods of standing or walking
