Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our CAS Aftermarket team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of flight control hardware repairs, modifications, and support for military aircraft customers. This position requires a strong understanding of comprehensive circuit card builds and mechanical assemblies, as well as the ability to review quality concerns and defects against drawings and specifications. This tech position will be the first line of support to the Quality Control Engineers as well as the assembly force, and will provide support in investigations as well as by providing feedback to assemblers to improve quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Review quality concerns and defects against drawings and specifications for flight control hardware
- Disposition quality concerns and defects to determine best course of action, with the aim of providing customers with repair opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed
- Give feedback on quality defects to assembly team and help train to further reduce future opportunities/defects.

Required Skills and Education
- Comprehensive knowledge of circuit card builds and mechanical assemblies
- IPC J-STD-001 Certified
- Ability to analyze and disposition quality concerns and defects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience with military aircraft systems and hardware
- Knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality standards
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Experience with quality control and inspection of complex hardware
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
