Job Overview:

 

Job Title: Engineering Administrative Assistant 

Reports to: Engineering Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt 

Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Overtime as needed. 

 

General Summary:

 Responsible for supporting Business Unit by providing administrative and clerical assistance.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities: 

  • Utilize Plex ERP system to create and upkeep part and customer information.
  • Create work SOPs for specific parts and processes.
  • Perform data entry to aid in the APQP process.
  • Ensure all customer information is correct. 

 

Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge: 

  • Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office, data entry, and administrative writing. 
  • Soft skills including a high level of professionalism, customer focus, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication. 
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the initiative to drive organizational processes are also important to success in the position. 
  • Work experience in, and understanding of, a manufacturing environment are a plus. 

 

Physical environment/working conditions:  

Works in an office/plant environment.  The individual types at a computer on a regular basis and is on the plant floor documenting process and taking photo/videos.
