Compensation
- As you evaluate your career options, we recognize that salary is a key consideration. For this role, the pay range is $90,000 – 130,000, with individual compensation determined by your unique skills, experience level, and other relevant factors
Schedule:
- Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday–Thursday Between 6:00am and 6:00pm).
- Additional hours may be required during busier times
What You Will be Doing:
Engineer III’s will plan, design, and develop tools, machines, and accessory products for the HVAC/R markets both for new product introduction and improving on current designs. Engineer III’s assignments will be broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity. Engineer III’s have latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions.

- Provides support for production lines to ensure understanding of proper assembly processes
- Works with vendors to ensure accurate component specifications and dimensional requirements are met upon receipt
- Supports new production development reporting on work completed at department, new product, and stage gate meetings
- Transforms initial rough product designs into working production ready documents
- Updates released production documentation utilizing documented change processes
- Develop Bill of Materials that will be entered into business system using ECM Process
- Manages assigned tasks with a high level of quality, meeting deadlines expectations and proactively voices concerns when assigned tasks are not on track
- Assists in the training and mentorship of Engineer I and II’s
- Provides work direction and assistance for Engineer I and II’s to ensure projects hit deadlines
- Provides input into project and product budget planning
- Other duties as assigned including training others on known processes
What You Will Bring:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience in new product design
- Broad knowledge and the application of principles, practices & procedures of mechanical engineering to the completion of difficult assignments
- Understanding of the new product development process
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to an audience in a presentation setting
- Knowledge of lean principles
- 3D CAD Knowledge
- Experience with compressors and pump/motor design
- Experience in standard mechanical gear design
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently
- Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Infor ERP experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- SolidWorks experience
- DBWorks or Enterprise PDM experience
- Mechanical: Experience in the design of injection molded parts, sheet metal, machined parts, cast parts, forged parts, extrusions, and pressurized components
- Experience with HVAC motors and vacuum pumps
