Job Overview:

Position Summary

Responsible for expanding the feature set of the platform in an extensible and scalable manner. Own individual modules and act as the technical SME for them. Manage tasks for automation team members and provide technology guidance on implementing automation projects. Design and implement frameworks for testing the scalability of eCommerce Platform to increase website traffic. Build solutions for monitoring eCommerce platform and website performance of Samsung website. Work end to end on micro-services and SPAs built on cutting edge technologies including Nodejs, Golang and React. Work on DS & Algorithm skills and Design patterns. Build products from the scratch and taking them all the way to production. Be responsible for the Load Testing activities of all the backend and frontend components, including Load Test Planning Analysis and Load Modeling, Load Test Preparation and Test Execution. Work on Test Automation Framework Development including the various tools and frameworks for both front-end and back-end modules. Design and Develop frameworks for Mobile App Automation, E2E Automation Tests and Stub Integration Tests.

Supervises 1 subordinate – Engineer II, Software Quality Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 6 years of progressively responsible postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or related QA/Engineer/IT role.

  • Applicants must have 6 years of in the following: (1) Data structures and Algorithms to review design for micro services; (2) Analytical and Programming skills for automation coding with test frameworks; (3) Object oriented programming concepts; (4) Nodejs, Golang and React; (5) Performance Test Scripting using Frameworks including JMeter and Locust; (6) Microservices architecture for scalable platform; (7) Task break down for automation framework and scripting tasks; and (8) DevOps Setup, CI/CD Pipeline creation and Periodic test report generation for feature releases.

Skills and Qualifications

Compensation for this role between $231,750 – $241,750/Year. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
