Job Description

This position conducts engineering activities including but not limited to system design, record maintenance, project management and other technical support.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems for industry, selecting components based on design needs.
• Creates schematics and 3D models.
• Consults technically, assists sales people with technical requests, sometimes crossing over competitor’s parts.
• Maintains documentation of projects.
• Actively engages with project management software.
• Maintains applicable knowledge of best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• Computer proficient in Excel, AutoCad & 3D modeling.

 Physical Requirement:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.

 Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Two years engineering experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of Hydraulic systems a plus.
