Primary Objective: Provide engineering support for all aspects associated with the design, manufacturing, assembly, and validation of Newmar recreational vehicles.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Assist with the development of product design and functionality.
Implement assigned product engineering within the schedule and budget parameters.
Interface and collaborate with operations teams to identify opportunities related to product designs, assembly, and material to improve product satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.
Address issues related to the product by actively participating in problem solving methodologies.
Analyze the risks of a new design or process and communicate results to engineering team leaders.
Support the product assembly team to ensure product is assembled based on intended functionality of all product components.
Participate in all required testing of product components.
Assist as requested in the creation of product designs and specifications using computer software modeling techniques.
Participate as required, in all activities to ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations.
Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of applicable engineering experience in a manufacturing organization
1-3 years of preferred work experience in one or several areas related to body engineering/vehicle structures, chassis/powertrain/driveline systems, interior systems (cockpit/trim/infotainment), electrical engineering, and industrial design.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications and computer-aided design (CAD) platforms; NX preferred
