Successful candidate will be taught how tor:
1.) Auditing, researching and correcting Combat Systems Alarms for DDG 51 new construction ships.
2.) Troubleshooting and solving Alarm discrepancies before delivery and submitting weekly reports.
3.) Test witness all alarm tests and report status/discrepancies.
4.) Conduct and report status of all Pulse Current Injection Testing performed aboard ship.
5.) Interface with ship's force.
6.) Review engineering drawing ship specifications for accuracy and report findings.
Required Skills and Education
High School education or 2 years related US Navy or ship construction experience.
Knowledgeable about electrical circuitry
Ability to work aboard a new construction ship and to lift 50 lbs up and down vertical ladders.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional.
