Our teams are growing, and as a software engineer working with our Space Systems' programs, you would be partnered with domain SMEs and a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver software solutions enabling exciting new capabilities.

Job Responsibilities
⦁ Shape the design & development of an embedded space payload application in C++ or C
⦁ Collaborate across sites and across disciplines to bring a new capability to life
⦁ Efficiently respond to developing requirements
Due to the importance, this position offers a Sign-On Bonus. (Note: Current BAE Systems employees are ineligible for sign-on bonuses.)

Required Skills and Education
Required:- An existing Top Secret clearance
- 8+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably with C++
- Team leadership experience or aptitude
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred Skills and Education
- Familiarity with the space domain and/or software-defined radios
- Experience with OpenC3's COSMOS (https://openc3.com/) and NASA's cFS
- Experience creating automated build pipelines such as, gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
