In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer skilled in I&T / V&V to lead and execute I&T activities. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded Systems Engineering background with a focus on RF / EW products to provide direct program support and manage employee performance, set goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure team members are meeting expectations.

In this Role You Will:
  • Support CEMA program execution in a Systems Engineering role developing compact  RF / EW solutions for the warfighter.  
  • You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test a next generation EW system

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work on-site due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on-site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days. The posting will remain active until the position is filled, or a qualified pool of candidates is identified.

Required Skills and Education

  • BS degree in a STEM field in addition to 10+ years of relevant industry/military experience
  • Possess an active Secret security clearance (with ability to possess a Top Secret in the near future)
  • Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
  • Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
  • Demonstrate experience in RF test methods, systems, and equipment

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
  • Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
  • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance
  • Field or Flight Test experience
