This career requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 16 years of overall IT experience.
It also requires:
Ability to install and configure vCenter server
Experience with ESXi cluster servers
Strong technical knowledge of VMWare products: vSphere, vCenter, &/or Aria Suite
Experience implementing NSX, SRM &/or vSAN in DR or failover operational environments
3+ years experience in infrastructure architecture and design complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning.
Experience monitoring the health of VMs operating in various data centers
Masters in programming, computer science, or related field
Understanding of network & storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
Experience virtualizing enterprise applications
Experience with AWS
Experience with VMWare 7
Strong networking expertise
Experience with cloud migration
Experience with (automation/operations) integration across IT infrastructure
