Job Description

See what you’re missing. Our employees work on the world’s most advanced electronics – from detecting threats for F-35 pilots to illuminating the night for soldiers. Spanning air, land, sea, and space, we are developing the technology of tomorrow, delivered today. Drawing strength from our differences, we’re innovating for the future. And you can, too.  Our flexible work environment provides you a chance to change the world without giving up your personal life. We put our customers first – exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” Sound like a team you want to be a part of? Come build your career with us.

The Electronic Combat Systems Sustainment Center is seeking an Engineer for a hands-on role troubleshooting complex product, supporting highly integrated test stands, and guiding test technicians in an Operations environment in support of the Advanced Electronic Warfare Sustainment Product Stream (F-22, Firetip and Paragon).   The Sustainment Center supports new build restarts, field returns, upgrades and other critical projects for our end customers and their advanced platforms. This is a very unique opportunity for the right candidate to work in a supportive team environment, while troubleshooting some of the most challenging problems on product that has already been built, integrated and delivered to the warfighter.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform acceptance-level testing of highly integrated, top level product using automated test stands and diagnostic software.
  • Diagnose and isolate failures and test issues - test stand, interface test adapter, peripheral and unit-under-test.
  • Isolate top-level product failures to lower level modules, leveraging product knowledge and test output
  • Troubleshoot select modules and assemblies to the component level using additional tools and manual debug techniques, working directly with subject matter experts and program engineering resources as required.
  • Drive to become the technical subject matter expert within Sustainment for Advanced Electronic Warfare Sustainment Product Stream (F-22, Firetip and Paragon) product family supporting existing test stands.
  • Actively engage in creating a culture of continuous knowledge transfer – developing debug instruction guides, mentoring technicians and partnering with Factory Leadership to advance skill level in technician base.
  • Optimize test and troubleshooting flow within the factory
  • Transition and Validation of Test Stand Equipment and Test capabilities in the Sustainment Center
