Job Description

As part of the BAE Systems team, you’ll be working on challenging problems, working with creative engineers, and helping to deliver advanced products. You’ll enjoy flexibility of your work schedule, and work in a diverse and inclusive environment. The programs you work on may encompass all aspects of product delivery, from design and analysis, through integration, test, and delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow, all as part of an exciting and engaging career.

You’ll be an integral part of the team allowing BAE Systems to create capability that supports the overall mission: “We protect those who protect us.”

BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible supporting design, development, integration, implementation, test and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas.

As team member, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of an RF Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site.

You will support technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation; evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability; and perform analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total system solutions and translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
