BAE Systems is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to join the Higher Authority Communications/Rapid Message Processing (HAC/RMP) HAC Test System (HACTS 2.0) team for, an exciting opportunity to support the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system program.  As a Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will be an integral part of a talented and highly-skilled HACTS team that supports Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) and Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) by  replacing the out dated HACTS 1.0 Test System. The Program is currently in the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the acquisition process, and is scheduled to proceed to Production and Deployment mid-2027.
This career offers a unique opportunity to support a program with a team of subject matter experts, working through development challenges and proceeding to component testing. The advancement of technical skills and analysis capabilities are emphasized while producing high-quality products and effectively supporting the government customers.  
The position is located at Hill AFB, Utah.

Required Skills and Education

  • BS/MS eng., Computer science, software, mathematics, or physics. 3 yrs of directly related experience (2 yrs with MS degree) in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes
  • Engineer with technical expertise and analysis experience
  • Technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Capable of determining appropriate use of technologies in solving engineering problems

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Systems Engineering knowledge/experience preferred
  • Matlab, C, C++ programming languages preferred.
  • People management experience desired.
