Job Description

This position is first shift on a 4/10 work schedule.
What’s it like working for a company that makes a national impact? Inspiring. At BAE Systems, the work you do keeps some of the nation’s biggest defense programs ready and relevant by executing and delivering affordable sustainment solutions that keep our electronic warfare (EW) systems mission-ready and mission-capable. You can help our teams solve some of the most complex technical and long-term maintainability and sustainability challenges – all while growing your own career.
This Role has a high focus on Design for Factory Efficiency and 3D Printing. The products you model will likely be turned around in a matter of days of weeks. And they will be documented for future work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform troubleshooting on a wide variety of moderate to highly complex 3D Printer Problems
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of how your design will impact the factory floor
  • Understand the basic process flow of the factory floor
  • Work with engineering instructions and standard procedures on duties as required
  • Understand how to make an engineering drawing
  • Utilize AI tools to ensure brisk trouble shooting
  • Work with various groups to understand equipment functionality for current and future production needs
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

  • Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time

  • Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
