Enclosure Assembler (Siding & Framing)

Pay Rate: $25–$28/hr (up to $30/hr for strong candidates)

A well-established industrial manufacturer is expanding its in-house enclosure assembly capabilities and is seeking skilled Enclosure Assemblers to support long-term project demand. This role focuses on siding and framing work rather than welding or heavy metal fabrication. The company fabricates and welds primary structural components internally and is now bringing enclosure siding and framing work in-house to improve quality, cost control, and scheduling.
With approximately 150 enclosures forecasted—representing up to three years of work—this opportunity offers consistent hours, significant overtime, and strong potential for long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble metal enclosure siding and framing components
Cut, bend, drill, and fit metal panels to specification
Perform layout and precision measurements for window and door openings
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
Operate basic fabrication and construction tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.)
Maintain quality and safety standards in indoor and outdoor environments
Ideal Experience:
2–3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, or a related trade
Siding and framing experience strongly preferred
Comfortable reading mechanical prints and blueprints
High proficiency with tape measures and dimensional accuracy
Experience working with metal panels and basic fabrication tools
Backgrounds in residential construction, manufacturing, metal fabrication, or welding are all welcome
Schedule & Overtime:
Standard shift: 6:00am–2:30pm
During peak workload: up to 5:00am–4:30pm
Approximately 20 hours of overtime per week once fully ramped up
