Job Overview
The Encaps Machine Operator is responsible to accurately process blend into a capsule form according to written instruction and in compliance with cGMPs and SOPs.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the encapsulation process, including: room and equipment cleanliness, machinery setup, product verification (before, during, and after product run)
- Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production of product;
- Able to disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment;
- Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
- Monitor product levels and notify lead of discrepancies;
- Ensure product meets Armada high quality standards;
- Package product according to customer specifications;
- Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents
- Verifies documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed
- Must be able to understand, verify, and convert gram and kilo scales
- All other duties as assigned and needed
Requirements
Requirements and Skills
- 0 -1 year of experience in a manufacturing production line facility;
- Minimum High School Education or equivalent;
- Basic math, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to follow GMP and SOP guidelines;
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment;
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to perform daily tasks efficiently and independently;
- Self-starter/Multi-tasker
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air with or without a respirator;
- Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask;
- Ability to stand for an extended periods of time;
- Ability to work in humid/high temperature rooms
- Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas;
- Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; Ability to work above shoulders;
- Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bi-lateral wrist movement;
