Meaningful Work From Day One:
This is a key role that supports the Manager, EMO Americas. This role manages Brown-Forman’s External Manufacturing Operations related to bottling, canning, and gift production at multiple sites in the region. This position involves a variety of fundamental disciplines, including Production Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Materials Management, Invoice Payments, and 3PL warehouse management.
What You Can Expect:
Order bulk spirits and materials to be shipped to external manufacturing facilities for production and co-packing.
Liaise with the representatives of Brown-Forman’s Supply Chain and regional markets to ensure that 24-month projections are available to drive the production program for the contract packers.
Manage projects, new products, and package redesign by facilitating communication between Design Group, Packaging, Brand, and Research and Development through the Project Management Office.
Partner and collaborate with Brand and Innovation teams regarding existing co-packer capability, capacity, material supply, cost, and timing to support new initiatives.
Provide production information (e.g., timelines, specifications, work instructions) to support the production process at co-packers.
Partner with Brown-Forman’s production sites and supply planners to coordinate the movement of WIP and Finished Goods inventory.
Monitor production reporting, review for accuracy, and facilitate investigation of discrepancies. Reconcile materials and finished goods inventory at co-packers.
Assist in new co-packer prospecting, start-up, and development for the region in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including QA and Engineering.
Assist with contingency opportunities for Brown-Forman products based on internal and external capacity constraints and cost savings.
Process invoices for payment from suppliers, external manufacturers, and co-packers.
Reconcile the inventory of finished goods and materials.
What You Bring to the Table:
Minimum 5 years of experience in production, planning, co-packing, and warehousing.
Strong interpersonal skills, combined with proficient oral and written communication.
Proven ability to independently organize work projects. Collect, analyze data, and present results in a concise, actionable format.
Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, accounts, and customers.
What Makes You Unique:
Education: College/University (Bachelor's or Equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business, or closely related discipline.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years’ experience in the beverage or CPG industries.
SAP and Kinaxis proficiency.
