Micro Tech Staffing is currently seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers for multiple openings on 1st and 2nd shift. This position is ideal for candidates with experience using hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and assembly drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools to build subassemblies and finished products
- Install wiring, connectors, switches, and other electrical components
- Route and secure wires, cables, and harnesses
- Perform mechanical assembly of frames, brackets, panels, and other components
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Experience with wiring, crimping, or cable assembly preferred
- Soldering experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
