About the Role
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team supporting the full lifecycle of advanced aerospace systems — from design and integration to testing and deployment. This role is ideal for hands-on technicians experienced in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and cable work in high-reliability environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble, install, and troubleshoot hardware and cable systems
• Perform hardware debugging, repairs, and RMAs
• Support integration, testing, and validation of systems
• Maintain lab equipment, documentation, and inventory
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings
• Work closely with engineers, operators, and inspectors
• Support system installation and configuration
Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience in hardware/cable assembly, debugging, and repair
• Strong experience with MIL 38999 and D-Sub cable assembly
• Cable routing, installation, and soldering (cables & PCB components)
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Knowledge of RS-422, RS-232, USB interfaces
• Ability to read and work from schematics and drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
• IPC-620 Certification
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability environments
• 5+ years of experience (highly preferred for top candidates)
Important Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be eligible to obtain/hold a DoD Security Clearance
• Fully onsite role in Richardson, TX
