About the Role
This hands-on role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in electronics manufacturing. You will assemble solid-state motor control products while receiving on-the-job training in assembly techniques, product knowledge, quality standards, and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Install wiring, connectors, relays, capacitors, and other components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and other assembly equipment safely.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Report quality concerns, damaged parts, and material shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support production and cross-functional manufacturing activities as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience (technical school graduates encouraged to apply).
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electronic assembly.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
- Technical certificate or Associate degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience with electronic or electromechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with wiring, crimping, and electrical schematics.
