Compensation: $ 32.00/hr - $42.00/hr (depending on experience)


Job Overview


As an Electromechanical Technician I, you will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot basic automation issues, and assist with programming modifications on computer-controlled production systems. You will apply maintenance and reliability practices to keep equipment safe, reliable, and compliant while supporting production uptime across packaging, processing, utilities, and plant systems.

What You Will Do

• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical and
• mechanical plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic machinery, automation, PLC/VFD issues, and restore equipment to safe operation.
• Modify equipment programming under guidance and document changes per site procedures.
• Inspect and maintain packaging, processing, storage, and utility systems to prescribed standards.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and update maintenance records using CMMS.
• Follow all safety policies and contribute ideas to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
• Ability to use basic computer applications, and update work information in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Bring at least 1 year of industrial electrical experience plus exposure to a mechanical maintenance trade.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces, performing physical tasks including lifting up to 55 lbs, climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing required PPE in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F with or without a reasonable accommodation.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, control voltages, and PID loop control systems 480VAC and below), and 24VDC controls.
• Experience applying precision maintenance techniques, such as laser alignment and dial indication.
• Practical experience utilizing maintenance trades, including welding, pipefitting, fabrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Experience working within established safe work systems, including PJHA, permits to work, and confined space procedures.
• Hold trade school certificate or degree in an electrical or mechanical field, or relevant military technical experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial or scissor lifts.
